Anne Burnham Pottery
Anne Burnham has
been a studio potter in northern New York since l974. She has a
Masters Degree from Simmons College, Boston, Ma. The seasonal beauty
of her Adirondack home is reflected in her landscape motifs, both
literal, figurative, and internal. Impressions from living and
traveling across the USA, a brief trip to Africa and imaginary trips
to China, India and the Himalayas make guest appearances among the
Adirondack vistas. Simpicity is a strong element of her landscape
patterns. The lines and colors of the land and seasons flow across
Anne's descorative, functional vessels. Anne is primarily
self-taught, but workshops with Warren McKenzie, Paul Soldner,
Toshido Takaezu, and Paulus Bherenson have expanded her views.
